I formatted my usb for FAT32 and downloaded the update from the plastation.com website and put it in the file format PS4->UPDATE->PS4UPDATE.PUP I had opened up my PS4 before and I figured I might as well try resetting my Blu-ray Drive. I ran the update regularly through the PS4 menu after opening it, fixing it, and closing it, and the update went through.
